Host/3rd Generation Chuckwagon Driver

Dayton is a third-generation chuckwagon competitor, Dayton is the grandson of Kelly Sutherland and the son of Mark Sutherland. As a driver, Dayton started his career in 2015, competing at Grande Prairie Stompede and the Dawson Creek Fall Fair where he just missed qualifying for his first dash. He made his first debut as an outrider on the WPCA Pro Tour penalty-free behind his father Mark on Father's Day during the 2013 Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede, and filled in on the final night of the Strathmore Heritage Days behind his grandfather Kelly’s winning outfit that same year.  In 2016, Dayton was the recipient of the Rod Glass Memorial Award for Most Improved Outrider and has won multiple show championships as an outrider. In 2017 Dayton was named the Top Rookie Driver. He won his first show title as a driver in 2018 at the Battle of the Rockies in Rocky Mountain House, outrunning the pack by three seconds. In 2019 Dayton took a step back from the WPCA and competed in the Western Chuckwagon Association and rejoined the WPCA circuit for the last three shows of the season. Dayton carries on the tradition of his grandfather and wears the signature eagle feather in his hat. He loves the sport of chuckwagon racing for the people he meets, the lifestyle it provides and the opportunity to work with horses.

Kass was born and raised in Calgary, AB. At an early age, she developed a love for horses and the sport of chuckwagon racing.
Growing up her favorite part of the summer was getting to go watch the chuckwagon races with her family and friends.
Kass graduated from Central Memorial High School and proceeded on to Mount Royal University where she graduated with a Diploma in Broadcasting Communications. She has spent many hours in hockey arenas, both as a volunteer and as a spectator. Over the years Kass has been the social media director for both the Okotoks Jr B Bisons and the Okotoks Marauders. Hockey has been a very large part of her life, but her first love is the chucks.
As a Reporter/Anchor over the past 5 years, she has been able to cover the chuckwagon community and meet many of the great people associated with the sport. She loves that she is able to share the stories of the sport that people might not otherwise see or hear, and educate her audience on what goes on behind the scenes.
Producing a documentary on the sport of chuckwagon racing is still a goal for Kass, and has been since she finished University.
